Beacon Partners Asks HIMSS11 Attendees to Voice Their Opinion About the Impact of Healthcare Reform Legislation
The Beacon Partners 2011 Healthcare Reform Opinion Poll to be conducted electronically in Booth #5563 at HIMSS11 in Orlando

WEYMOUTH, MA – February 15, 2011– Healthcare management consulting firm Beacon Partners is providing a platform for those in the healthcare community attending the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference and Exhibition to contribute their opinion on the implications of Congress or the Federal Courts repealing all or components of the healthcare reform legislation. At HIMSS, February 20-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, the “Beacon Partners 2011 Healthcare Reform Opinion Poll” will be conducted live in their booth #5563.

"The discussion on healthcare reform is very fluid at this time,” explains Ralph P. Fargnoli, Jr., president and CEO of Beacon Partners. “Dialogue is out there ranging from repealing some of the components, to non-funding of the reform legislation, to threats of budget cuts funding for ARRA.”

HIMSS attendees will be asked to take a very brief electronic survey consisting of four key questions:

• Do you believe the new Congress or Federal Court will be successful in repealing at least some portion of the healthcare reform legislation?
• What is your top concern about the financial investments necessary to achieve Meaningful Use?
• How willing do you believe your clinicians are/will be in adopting the changes you’ve made/are about to make to achieve Meaningful Use?
• If either the new Congress or Federal Court is successful in repealing at least some component of healthcare reform, what do you believe the impact to overall patient care will be?

All participants in the Beacon Partners Healthcare Reform Opinion Poll will be eligible to win an iPad®.

Real time results of the poll will be displayed on monitors in Beacon Partners’ Booth during HIMSS. Final results will made available right after the conclusion of HIMSS.
